What you get for each game
Every move is compared against Stockfish 18's own choice in that position and scored by how much winning chance it threw away. That single number produces everything else: the label on the move, the accuracy figure for each side, and the shape of the evaluation graph.
- An accuracy percentage and a performance rating for both players.
- Every move labelled — brilliant, only move, best, excellent, good, inaccuracy, mistake, or blunder. The exact thresholds are published.
- The engine's move in every position, with the line it expects to follow.
- An evaluation bar and a clickable graph, so you can jump straight to the moment the game swung instead of stepping through forty quiet moves to find it.
Why it has no limit
Most review tools run the engine on their own servers, so every game you analyse costs them processor time — which is why there is a daily cap and a subscription behind it. This one compiles Stockfish 18 to WebAssembly and runs it on your machine instead. The cost of your second review is the same as the cost of your first: nothing. That is also why no account is needed, and why your positions are never uploaded anywhere.
Three ways to bring a game in
Paste a Chess.com game link, paste a Lichess game link, or paste the PGN from any site at all. You can also search a Chess.com username and pick from recent games.
The quickest route, if the game is on Chess.com, is to type rv in front of the address. chess.com/game/live/12345678 becomes rvchess.com/game/live/12345678 and the review opens on its own.
